Beloved

Joining in today with Five Minute Friday where we say, “Ready, get set, Go!” and start writing whatever comes to mind for just 5 minute.  Then “Stop!”

Today’s word is “beloved” and how perfect for the day after Valentines!

You are my beloved.  It is the kind of love that has no boundaries.  It is the kind of love that that is a deep and big and wide as the sea.  It is the kind of love that constantly lingers.  It is the kind of love that never fails.  It is the kind of love that forgives…and forgets.

You are my beloved that I hold onto.  You are my beloved whom I cherish.  You are my beloved that I need.

You are my Valentine, but so much more.  You are my beloved.

  2. Stopping by from Five Minute Friday, Beth. I love the pictures of you and your beloved! The belovedness you describe is certainly "so much more" than a Valentine. What a gift to have found it! Thank you for writing and making some space for reflection here.

    1. Thank you, sister. I just visited your blog and wow...the Spirit was speaking. Some really good questions to ponder and pray about. Your mission work is a gift to so many and pray HE will continue to use you in mighty ways!

  4. I just found your blog from your old blog, when I was researching the meaning of 'eucharisteo." I am doing the Joy Dare this year, counting 1000 gifts. Your post on the word (which I'd never heard) was so well written. It was so timely this week to list "3 hard eucaristeo" in a row this week. My latest post describes the "triple whammy" but, oh, what a difference it's made in me to be thankful, specifically thankful, in the midst of them.

    1. So glad you're counting! It's a blessed and joy-filling habit to form! Thanks for your comment and I'm so glad you stumbled upon it and brought encouragement. Yes, finding "hard eucharisteos" is still a challenge but worth it. Praying you'll have a life changing Joy Dare experience!
